To assess and identify speech, language and functional needs of children and adolescents
Develop treatment plans and, provide evidenced-based group and individual therapy for children with:
Speech and language delays,
Language and communication disorders,
Feeding and swallowing disorders,
Autism and,
Other development disorders
Responsibilities
Formulate and deliver a complete specialized speech and language therapy program based on sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options
Effectively write SLT assessment reports
Maintain files and records for the purpose of documenting activities
Maintain inventory of equipment and resources and, to keep supplies in a clean and usable condition
Participate in quality improvement projects and develop new therapy programs
Facilitating groups and develop IEPs related to SLT services in CDC Early Intervention Program
Job requirement
Minimum Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Holds a valid practicing certificate with Allied Health Professions Council
Advantage: Experience in Paediatric Population
Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Able to work in team and independently
Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
A resourceful person and team player
Committed to stay competent and up-to-date with current practices
